Snakes Live on Every Continent Except Antarctica

Pablo Picasso’s full name was more than 100 letters long

He was baptized with one first name, two last names, and 12 middle names, for a grand total of 112 letters: Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno Crispín Crispiniano María de los Remedios de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz Picasso. (The exact order and spelling vary by source.)

Speaking of Antarctica, as a continent it is larger than Europe. And although covered by over a mile of ice, it is also classified as a desert, due to receiving under ten inches (six inch average) of precipitation each year.

Partly due to the complete lack of trees and barriers, it is the windiest continent on Earth, and has the coldest temperatures with the record being −89.2 °C (−128.6 °F) measured at the Vostok station in 1983.

The Romans did not have a symbol for zero in mathematical computations because they didn’t need it — but they did need a way to denote the absence of a quantity, such as in record-keeping. In these cases, the Latin words nulla or nihil, meaning “none” or “nothing,” served as linguistic placeholders and were abbreviated using N. These words, however, had no mathematical function; they were simply an expression of emptiness rather than part of the formal numerical system. This convention shows that Romans recognized the practical need to denote “nothing” even while they lacked the abstract mathematical understanding of zero as its own number.

When I was in school in the 1980's and a IEEE member, we toured sandia national laboratories and they were showing us the lasers and and target chamber that the NIF is doing now.
That is where I asked why water (purified) was used as an insulator, it is self healing if the spark blows through it.
I think around the same time they were working on the neutral particle beam accelerator for the Star Wars SDI program. I might still have a pamphlet about it?
Neutral Particle Beam Accelerator, Beam Experiment Aboard Rocket

After graduation I applied to sandia national labs, but got rejected. I'm not that smart anyway, but they had cool toys they were working with.
This was also around the time the movie Real Genius (Val Kilmer) came out which questioned the ethics of such research and how it could be misused.

I got rejected from learning to fly the war planes. My ear drums had scar tissue over cracks. They told me I was not leaving the ground. They are bloody complex anyway. The planes.
