Hello,

I need to sell my driver 1966 Coronet 440 model that came equipped with a 383-4 barrel/4-speed/3.23 SG in QQ1 dark metallic red with a black interior.

This car has a rebuilt suspension, rear diff, front suspension, brakes and much more to make it a safe, dependable driver.

The engine is a rebuilt 400 dressed in the '66 tin (OE air cleaner/ex manifolds included). I upgraded the engine with a 750 Holley and Doug's 2" coated headers.

The paint is original with a few dings and dents as you would expect.

I can share many, many more details and pictures for an interested party.

Asking $17k or best offer

NICE.

Is that in my database for a potential registry?

I'd be very interested if I wasn't at the exact opposite corner of the country.

Is that the OEM Inland shifter I see?

I honestly cannot remember. I will post the VIN and fender tag.

Also note it has the original recored 948 26" radiator. That set me back $800! This is a C.A.P. car (CA emissions) which spec'd a 26" radiator and clutch fan.

It does sport the OE inland shifter. They are okay for cruising around and a little fun once in a while. If the car doesn't sell I will install the new black carpet kit and order a Hurst to Inland conversion shifter.

Aside from lack of use my secondary motivation is to help fund a 1/4 panel for the green/white 383-4/auto Coronet that I am trying to resist parting out.

383-4 1966 Coronet 440 model production was low - 1412 automatics and 1224 4-speeds

That's a LONG drive.

I just looked through my files and I don't think I have that car.

I have 14 of the 1679 383 WH cars built.

I'd love to add yours.

I wonder why our numbers are different.

I believe I do have your green car.

Don’t know where you are from , but Rogue River to Naples Florida is 3200 miles.
I just checked our log book. In 2012 we drove to San Antonio with our 4Runner and a car trailer visited friends, then on to Austin and picked up a 66 Charger drag car. Put on 3600 miles one way. Fun trip.

As a point of interest, the exhauat system 3" with an h-pipe into stainless FlowFX mufflers and then reduced to 2.5" after the axle so it can clear the area between the (ne) gas tank and Mopar Performance leaf springs. The tips are off of a 68 Dart.
