    WTB Chrome Instrument Cluster bezel

Looking for the chrome bezel that goes around the instrument cluster on a 69 Road Runner non rallye dash. Looking for one with good chrome, but it does not have to be perfect. I know the part is available aftermarket but not interesting in paying $200+ for this part on a driver car. Thank you.

Blower motor removal, 69 a/c GTX

Removing the 3 small sheet metal screws from the outer housing is the correct method. Its still a SOB to get off. Gentle but forceful prying around the outer edge to firewall area will finally break it loose. Work on it a bit, take a break and come back and try again.

Schwan's Ice Cream man getting closed down

Grew up in rural Southern Illinois. Our Schwans driver was around long enough and new us and what we ate. He'd arrive, throw a few ice cream treats to the dogs, walked right in the basement, checked the freezer and restock what was need, took the blank check that was on the clipboard. NEVER...

    Feeding a wire through firewall

This is probably the most helpful for your situation, with pictures. The M&H harness they refer to has all the wires you would need, most likely even for your aftermarket tach. Factory tach question(s)... You can certainly drill a smaller hole, if you use this harness or parts of it your...

    Feeding a wire through firewall

The divot you see to the right of the grommet is designed for the tach wire and 7/8 grommet on a 69 RR. Sadly the idiot before me that punched the hole in my firewall didn't pay attention to the proper way of doing things.

    Tie down question when Trailering

Towed 1000 miles twice this year. Straps through the rims on all 4 wheels straight to the trailer D rings. Car didn't move a bit even on Indiana's roughest roads.

    Is this a pad shim?

Those GM E body rear calipers were junk back in the day. If you don't regularly use the Emergency brake, the pistons freeze up on the adjusting screw causing a low pedal and poor braking performance.

    Torsion removal

The control arm bolt is pressed into the bushing. It is not a thru-bolt, and that shoulder does not hold anything in place
