Have a 71 charger SE
When I turn the steering wheel, there’s a loud squeaking noise coming from the steering wheel(see pic of where sound is coming from).
Anyone know if the steering wheel can be adjusted to inhibit squeaking? Worst idea I have is to file the inner metal ring.

Couldn’t wait until Saturday. Jumped into the car and was able to remove the seat. I can now get to the trunk, as the trunk lock does not seem to work(there’s tension, but it doesn’t release the lock hook).

Guys, Thanks for the quick response! This Saturday I’ll hop into the car and see if I can straighten the tabs to remove the backrest seat frame. The car is under a tarp sitting outside in 10 degrees F… so it’ll be a quick job :)
