Here is the car currently, I tried to take a close up picture of the metal flake in the exterior paint. There isn't much paint left on the outside but it appears the whole exterior had metal flake like that.

There's the pictures the seller sent me over a decade ago. This is exactly how it was when I bought it. A friend in dover NH dragged it out of there and stored it until I was able to pick it up and drag it back to oregon.

Yes I was all over that article years ago when I first learned about the intake and got my hands on one. At the time I had a Daytona clone and planned to put the intake on that car cause in that article it states that it clears the hood on factory six pack cars. there's no difference in hood...

I don't think that intake will clear the original roadrunner hood, it sits rather tall.
