What to do...? Having my forged crank removed and inspected I reallise I'll have to let the shop work on the bearing journals at a cost I don't know... A guy is selling a 400 cast crank in good condition for a good price (about 100 dollars) So... First of all, does the 400 crank fit the 383...

I'm new at this and I don't want to ruin enything... I gave the little crank key som not-so-gentle pounds but it won't move... Am I doing it wrong? I googled a pic of mopars BB crank keys and saw that they are'nt all rounded, but flat on the edges. Does this require another method of removal?

Hey. Does anybody have a flow chart for a standard 906 head? Do they differ a lot from head to head or can I rely on some standard scheme?

I'm restoring my 383 and the old dual plane cast iron intake (2806301), wich I'm intending to re-use, have smaller ports than the 906 heads. Is it worth porting the intake for better flow?
