magnum cam in a hydraulic roller LA engine?

I have a late LA 360 (cast # 5300692) with hydraulic roller tappets. I want to upgrade the camshaft. I've read on other sites that the magnum series that replaced the LA after 1991 cams are interchangeable with the late LA (like mine) with hydraulic rollers. Can anyone confirm? If not, how the...

    1992 318 Magnum swap

Will a modern 318 Magnum (1992) bolt up to my 727 torqueflight (1967)? What about motor mounts in a b-body (1967 Coronet)?

    Decent headers, reasonable price?

Thanks for the replies, Upon closer inspection of many of the (negative) product reviews, most of the complaints came from people installing on A bodies, although there was good information about making sure the engine was in the correct position (height - side to side). It sounds like new...

    Decent headers, reasonable price?

So after perusing some product reviews it looks like headers can be an install nightmare depending on what you buy. I'm looking for a brand/part #that fit reasonably well (at a reasonable price?). I'm okay with switching to a mini starter if need be. What I don't want is to have to bang the crap...

FOUND LA 318 date stamped prior to November 1966

Long shot I know as the LA 318 was introduced into the 1967 models which started production in October 1966. The engine castings should have started earlier than October '66 though to be ready for assembly. I'm in Maryland so hopefully I find this somewhere on the East coast or this side of the...

    New here, '67 Coronet 440

Minor update: I put on my long johns and crawled under to take a peek at the rear. It's definitely the 8 3/4. I can't get close enough to look for evidence of sure-grip (most likely not anyway) as the front end is still up whilst I wrestle with the upper ball joints (weather permitting).

    Hello from Poland

Welcome, from Maryland. Keep working on the car. It will be great one day. Your English is good enough to get the help you might need. Most of these guys have a lot of knowledge.

Deciding what I want to do with 67 coronet conv.

This. ^ Ultimately do what you want. My budget options are limited to finding any Mopar product with a 440 hooked to either auto or 4 spd, then part out the body and rebuild the 440 close to factory spec (maybe slight cam, headers, carb upgrade) with the machine shop doing the heavy lifting...

Guess what Grandpa hid under a vanity plate on the front - I believe it's the tag that was issued to the car new. I can't be sure but it is the right year and right county code

Picture of tag below. Not sure on axle. Car now in Maryland tagged with "50 Year Historic" tag. I know that I can technically get around the numbers matching thing, but by the time I hunt down an LA 318 stamped before December 1966, I might just grab a 440 out of some hopeless wreck and build...

    disposing of used engine oil.

Pour mine into the local recycling station tank at the county dump. I assume they do something with it that makes sense.

Hi all, I'm new to these forums but have read quite a few as I've searched topics related to my (wife's) 1967 Dodge Coronet 440. This 440 (model) has 318, auto (727), factory A/C and factory tow package. Background: My wife's grandfather bought the car off the lot in December 1966. I know...
