It's a bimetalic strip in there. I see you can get them online. They are also a toy train light. Seems the new ones don't have the strip visible like the old ones. You'll also notice the blinking is very random.
Looks like that may be an early Hemi booster on there. It might have been added, you didn't mention PB on the tag. Does anyone know if PB would be listed on the tag?
Also the drivers side manifold is HP, they didn't start those until 67 I believe. I couldn't tell the pass side.
The best thing I ever found in a dumpster was at a self storage facility. They must have had an auction where no one bid on a locker. I saw this 15 yd dumpster from afar that had things in it that I couldn't quite figure out. Walked over to it, then ran and got my van. There were these...
Those boosters came on 66 and 67 Hemis with both drum and disc. It would have to be an option for drum, power brakes came with the disc option automatically. The booster also came standard on 66 and 67 B-bodies with disc and big block, in 66 the master was special and had an extension ring to...
I have a pretty cool non vanity plate. This is actually a normal passenger plate. Ironically I don't have any of my 67 RTs road worthy right now. I had to put it on this car when the opportunity came about so I don't lose it.
About 15 years ago, I was towing my sister-in-laws 69 Hemi Super Bee with my brother following in his 64 Imperial. We were on a North Carolina state road, two lanes in each direction with a huge median that you couldn't see the other direction. I noticed a set of headlights way off that seemed...
Just for everyone's info. I talked to Dave about the panel and he wasn't even aware of it. He said it must be in development stage. If they were out, you'd think he'd know.
I was looking for it just this weekend. I used it quite a few years ago and loved it. I had two used cans left over, the stuff separated and is no good anymore. They don't make it any more. What ever you do, don't but the crazy priced cans on Ebay, it will be just as junk as what I threw...
This right here.
Just remove the LCA pivot nut, brake strut, lower ball joint and you can just pry the LCA backwards. It will take the bar with it. Once it's out of the rear mount, the front will come apart easy. You could also leave the pivot nut on and pry the LCA off the pivot at the same...
Try advertising them in the for sale section with an offer to bring to Carlisle.
Just be sure to get a deposit. I've had many people suddenly not interested once they spent their money at the show!
What ties everything together is the build sheet. It will have the vin and SO#. Plus more detailed build info.
Nice car by the way.
I just picked up a 66 myself.
