Do adjustable strut rods help with 60 ft? 64 b body stock front end. Just wondering how much they will help if any. Are they worth the money? Looking for opinions. Thanks
Scaled the car before taking it apart. Have 53% front and 47% rear weight bias . Didn't have the time to try placement of weight. Put about 100 lbs to the very back of the trunk and got a 50 50. 1st question would you add weight having 53--47 . 2nd question would it be better to add some...
Thinking of putting a lower 1st gear in my 727 while freshening up. The car has cal trac and I thought someone said their car didn't like the lower 1st gear with cal trac. Any thoughts appreciated.
Finished for the season. Decided to try something different this year so went 6.50 index. A little bit of learning as such as slowing down the car and .04 pro tree foot braking. Time to start freshen up trans and converter. Hope everyone has a good winter.

My father passed away 20 years ago and upon cleaning out the garage i kept 1 set of his plates. The other day I was looking for some other parts and I turned them over and looked at the numbers and date. Purchased this car 3 years ago.
My personal best of 10.03 @ 133.69 mph. Still not happy with 60 ft but will have to do Finished for the year so I will be reading about what everyone else is doing. Sorry here is the car with a 451 cu.
1st post 1964 Belvedere 400 stroke to 451 cu. Dana with 4.56 and Cal Traks I am thinking the 60 ft is slow. Took off regular gas shocks (worn out) and installed Viking doubles on the front. Any thoughts?
