I've been watching a lot of videos on it and I think it is exactly what I need. Now I need to build a cart of sorts for it and the plasma cutter stuff.
Since I cannot work on the car or anything else for that matter, I decided to surf the internet any buy crap... LOL I just bought a new plasma cutter, I used to have one that I probably mentioned here but it took up too much room. This one is portable...
I agree that the pedal commander is cool on an AT vehicle. Like I said I have one on my 14 Ram 2500 4x4 and it really changed it.
Here are some pics of my 70 Challenger. I bought it in 2000 and drug it out of a field basically. It is a true U code (440) car, AT, PS, PB, AC, Trac Pac (3.55 sg)...
Yeah its a cool car, is it a manual or auto?
I wanted to get another Challenger and do the Cuda conversion, put on the AAR hood and stripes and then get a Challenger TA and I would be set... LOL Instead I have a 70 Challenger RT 440, 73 Cuda resto mod, 01 Viper, 70 Roadrunner project, 71...
Nice car!! I wasn't aware they did a Hurst car in 2010. I bought mine because I wanted a purple RT with a 6spd, didn't care about anything else but I did end up getting a super trac pac (4.10) with entertainment package and push to start.
I lowered it as soon as I got it, removed the rear...
I did fire the car and it seemed to run good but I cannot really say for certain because I only ran it for a few minutes at a time.
You are putting this on a 10 Challenger? I have one of those as well, RT 6spd
I don't think adapting a LS TB to the Mopar harness is all that difficult but I just don't really know for sure. I meant to reach out to one of the EFI swap wiring harness companies (there are a few) and see about adapting the LS TB but changed paths before I could.
Putting a G3 Hemi TB onto...
Pretty much exactly the same path that I took, here is what I found out;
1. As far as making an LS TB work with a G3 Hemi harness, I am sure it can be done but as far as I know there isn't an adapter. That said I have see videos where they talk about using an LS TB on one so I am very sure its...
Thanks for reaching out, I think that guy is closed permanently which is unfortunate.
I don't know what I would charge to make another adapter however I would highly suggest you look around locally for a small machine shop and see if they will do one. Its not that hard but us a little fiddly...
I finally got my MSD 4 channel relay board sorted out, got the headlights working and the fans. I am now trying to figure out why the vintage air isn't working.
Unfortunately I had a MC accident yesterday so that is going to greatly slow me down as I am somewhat beat up. Fortunately it was a...
Welcome from WA State (soon to be CA north).
Interesting build, I wish you luck. I have a 71 Charger and a 01 Viper but I don't know that I would want to marry them, but each to his own.
I have my Holley ECU mounted underneath and to my glove box. I removed the GB door and ECU so that I could get to the vintage air unit as it does not work (still trying to figure that out).
I had originally mounted it using rivnuts however when I removed the ECU one of the rivnuts came out and...
I see its been awhile since I updated this. I have not gotten a lot done one the car (solid procrastinating) but I did get some shop upgrades done so I am happy with that.
Those who have followed along or read through this thread might remember that I used a 4 channel relay panel made by Leash...
I recently assembled my rear bumper and taillights on my 71 and there is nothing like that. That clip looks like something from a more modern car. That said, go to Harbor Freight, they have full kits of those type of push clips.
Well I would rather wait for the correct length driveshaft that was built on measurements from my car than have to repair the damage resulting from using the wrong one.
