New shifter cable showed up along with springs and bushings set for the distributor, and cams for the carb accel pump. Should be ready to try this again in the next day or two. Going to adv the timing first and go from there.
I soldered in the only two wires that needed it. The harness already had the two wire plug to the distributor. The green wire is not needed for the two spade ballast resistor. That leaves a black with yellow tracer to the coil negative and the blue wire to the ignition switch.

Interesting... As you know, I just got my TKO together & I'm still learning it's quirks... But I've done a half dozen 1st-2nd shifts at 5700-6000 RPM's & it's been fine.. I haven't built the confidence to hit 3rd at that RPM yet but at 5100 which is about 60 mph it slides in great every time...
