Cleaned up the frames with wire brush and muratic acid solution, then coated with Ospho and a good enamel with hardener added. There is a latch on the bottom corners of the upper frame that does not look like it attaches to anything. I must be missing something.

After Bill passed away last year, I brought the car home to Michigan with me to get running again after sitting for a couple of years. After caring for his car for a little over a year and getting to drive it a few times, reluctantly it's time to let it go.
The car is currently in Belleville...

Don't 'stink' I replied to this thread but....put a 4.88 in my 340 Cuda for awhile and man, talk about fun! Left the shifter in 2nd on the launch because....well, you know. 3rd gear was quick and so was 70 mph! The 275/60's had a hard time getting traction so had to use descretion with the go...
Hi Rob, I will check for You tomorrow. I'm not sure what I have left; but I do know that mine is a 1972 SE also. I believe that I have some (all?) pieces, but it will be a "search and rescue" mission bc they could be anywhere in a 2 car garage, including the loft, or the shed behind it! The one...
Steele Rubber is a great place for your weather stripping. A little pricey but good stuff. Check around though, some places have some good pieces that work just a good like Classic Industries or Vans Auto.
