Restoring a 70 numbers matching Challenger. Auto 727 trans numbers match also. Tranny shop can send my converter out for rebuild or simply exchange for same. Is there a reason keeping the original one? Exchange will save a couple hundred bucks because of the back and forth shipping.
Just disassembled my 70 Challenger (I know it's not a B Body) i have been on this site a long time and my question is universal.
I've decided to put aftermarket frame rails on all 4 sides.
AMD is getting harder and more expensive these days.
Any other manufactures recommended?
All set to start installation of a one piece floorpan and tried to get it into the car. My fiancé was my helper and when we were having troubles we stopped. There has to be a combination to get it inside the car? Fingers crossed it will fit. I am a good fabricator but don't need practice...
Couple of bad spots I am getting to front frame rail just in fronton the A arms.
Surgically removed the bad area and need some clues on what the internal bracee looks like, theads, ECT.
Must be were the bumper bracket mounts to?
Trying to figure out what this bracket is used for. It's on the driver's side underneath the battery box. Perhaps added sometime past for some purpose not required now. Can I grind it off?
It's a 68 Superbee
I am in process of dash restoration on my 68 Superbee. The dash bezel looks salvageable but the radio piece was trimmed years ago. Maybe for a 8-track?
What are the repops like? Should I find the radio piece and send to a rechrome place and restore? All the bezel pieces need restoration.
