I checked around and it looks like the only real deifference between the 68 and 69 kit is the red square pcs. Do you have any idea why the longer and shorter studs and where they might go?
I was told this kit is for a 69 not a 68, but really the only difference is the 68 kit doesn't have the red square pcs. Do you have any idea why the longer and shorter studs?
I've done some searching on here and can't really come up with any help. I purchased the grille trim mounting fastener kit pictured and can't figure what goes where and I do not have an old grille to go off of. Does anybody have any idea what the red square pcs are for? I have never seen those...

There are all kinds of universal kits out there that you can make fit. Not exactly like Mike's, but with some cutting and welding you can make it fit. Some are a two bar set-up.
I kind of figured that would be the answer. Lol Thanks for the help and the pictures. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving and have a Merry Christmas.

That looks awesome. Exactly the kind of set up I'm looking for. Don't have an extra set of those brackets laying around that you want to sell, do you? Lol

Does any body know if there is a sway bar available that will work after installing a spring relocation kit? After doing some digging it seems like you either go with the sway bar or the spring relocation kit. I really want to put the spring kit and mini tubs for some wider tires on my 1968 GTX...
What do mean by the frame rails being "salvageable"? Just a couple of patches needed on them? How are the frame rails on the white clip? I wouldn't need doors, hood, deck lid or anything like that. Probably would just like the white clip as it is and the green one with just the suspension stuff...
Do you have the upper and lower cowl section with the steering column and dash frame screw brackets still attached? Need one in really good condition so I don't have to buy a aftermarket that doesn't have the brackets.
I need the upper and lower cowl section with the steering column and dash frame screw brackets still attached. Any way you would be willing to cut one off of those car's and ship it to Michigan? The repop's don't come with the brackets so if I can get a section in good condition I'd rather use...
