I've sold many cars on ebay with 2 of them being a 70 & 69 Charger.I own a 68 Charger now.If you go auction, just put a reserve on it. If it don't sell first time, lower it by a little. Different people on any day could be watching so keeping it online longer is a plus.
So is it still a 440 car...
Did you have to set the booster pin rod to master or is it preset. I'm asking because I bought the reproduction kit & I'm having brake problems on my 68 charger. I'm not even sure if this booster rod can be set. I tried turning it but it didn't seem to make a difference. I bought the mbm brand...
Other than what was mentioned that I just corrected, I don't see other issues. And finding a shop these days to work on old muscle cars is just about a thing in the past & I'm in the south. Last yr I took my charger to the only brake shop that would take it & they screwed me around for 3 weeks...
Yeah, your right, that's how I left it from yesterday. Still on the stands, so easy fix.
I took those top springs on & off so many times stretching it out, the hook ends bent out of shape. Kept having to squeeze them with pliers. Lucky I didn't break em.
OK, I talked with the seller who I bought my kit from & instead of installing the kit in the order of the video posted in this post, like installing the bottom green spring & adjuster first, he pointed me back to my instructions sheet. So yesterday with a fresh head & with the knowledge I...
I think thats accurate. Wanna make sure it's right this time, I shouldn't have to take it off again. I wanna leave this post to help others as well. I found another post, would you say how I've got mine right now is how this guys is? First photo
I recently made a post with my troubles, can anyone tell me if I've got this spring in the right holes? The adjuster lever always covers up seeing exactly where it's going in other photos. I'm trying to make sure before I get back started. I've already assembled & disassembled twice.
You know what, trying to learn off videos of cars that's not of your own is my downfall. I now think the way I had it in the beginning was right. So know I just took off all my parts for nothing. Because now I'm going back to my install booklet & looking at the photo they give, it shows it like...
He's away but I wrote the guy. The spring in the listing is different for sure.

So, I took it all off & started fro. Scratch thinking I'd be easier but installing the green spring & adjuster is still hell. And I'm thinking again that the springs I have is too small. Like that video his springs had long ends not like mine. I got it on there with some help but one wrong move...
And too, I started watching the video I had already watched numerous times days ago again & saw that he puts on that bottom green spring on the shoes first before any thing else. I was running it past that part because I had already gotten to where I am now. Interesting!
I'll do that. Yeah that bottom green spring is smaller than the top springs. And one side of it just has a small hook. At first I thought it was broke because the guy I bought it from, he showed a different spring that what I got. But then I looked elsewhere & compared to mine & apparently what...
I had the right idea the other day but maybe I didn't do it exactly like what you said, close.I was doing it by myself & couldn't fit the adjuster in while pulling the bottom spring. And It pulled way too tight. The only thing is trying to do this in this blistering heat wave outside. I...
Yep that's confusing when scouring the internet. Mine is 11 inch but I don't know if it came with 10 or 11 from factory. Don't know if that matters. But I do have photos of what was on it before I started.
Actually here is the description for the listing for the kit I bought.
For 11 X 2.5"...

Yep. I do have photos of what it had before I added new parts. It was missing parking...
Well in its current state that's not happening. All I know to do is take it apart & start over. I just can't get the spring to stretch that far & be right. I thank you for your advice.
Well, to get the spring over to the next hole over on the right side of it, I took the adjuster off, thinking I could squeeze the adjuster back in. So, are saying take off the silver round pin tabs on each side & place the adjuster in there? Your not saying the top 2 springs right?
And yes, I...
The green spring I got looks different than what's in the photo of the listing I bought it from. The seller is away for another week. On my green spring, one end is long & the other end has a very short hook. Then again others online look like the ones I got, so idk.
I wonder if I got smaller springs than I should have. I tried hooking it up just like this picture but It brought it all way too tight. I knew that couldn't be it, I sure did t want to break a spring. And the lever spring, does it hook on to the adjuster levee pivot behind the lever? I'd have to...
