I have a Carter 4640SA AVS for a 69 440 with a date code of D1. I was under the impression that the number after the letter was for the year of manufacture. If that’s the case why would Carter be making a carburetor for a 1969 Chrysler vehicle in 1971?
Can you run a Edelbrock Performer RPM 440 in a 64 B-body without it hitting the stock hood?
I know that the Performer RPM is 1.7” taller than stock and I was able to run it in my car with a drop base but how much taller is the Dominator is over stock?
Thanks
