On the serpentine system I have for my 65, they specced out specific pumps due to reverse rotation. Could be the culprit for you. Also asked above: what are the CFM ratings for the fans? Many of them are hardly up to the task. Also, 22" or 26" core. Which one are you running?

Oh I’m glad I found it out before but the rev kit did save that engine.. those springs had considerable strength, the Max heads had no heat crossover so I made a stud to hold the bracket square in that spot.
every edelbrock i put on i always lean out the cruise mode with the metering rods I try to go up 2 sizes if not surging your good. better gas mileage and the plugs stay nice and clean.

From all pics I have seen, weather it's an AC car or not, ya need that top threaded hole to mount the alternator. Never seen a plug put in one before. Whoever did the heads has some 'splainin' to do.
My 68 Bee had one from previous owner. For some reason the hiway patrol took issue with me towing my dads boat at 75+ back in the day;) Still have it around here somewhere.
