    Warped Carburetor Plate

    So I'm in the middle of rebuilding a 1970 Carter BBD, And realize the top plate is warped due to the bolts being over tightened. Anyone have andy ideas or suggestions on how to fix this?: How fragile is the metal? Should I try and bend it, Or even pound it straight? - JDB
