    Just a suggestion, but Laysons pride themselves in accurate reproduction parts. Give them a call if NOS doesn’t pan out. Tell them your story and see what they can do to resolve your problem. I personally have had good results working with them .

    I just pulled up the window sticker and on the top left (color code) 09 is indicated. And yes, A31 high performance axle package is indicated.

    Clarification: My 340 ‘70 Duster was not an AC car. I have the original window sicker. If you would like to see it you can email me ([email protected]) and someone can post it since I don’t currently hold a gold membership. Maybe someone can interpret the paint since it doesn’t indicate 999.

    When someone says you couldn’t get a 4speed with AC I would question that statement. Back in 1970 I ordered a 340 A Body with bucket seats, Auto on the column and 3:91 sure grip.
