need advice, 65 belvedere 11 with 742 sure grip will spin both wheels on surfaces like sand, loose gravel, grass, but does not on concrete or asphalt. am I looking at rebuilt of diff.
received pitman arm for my 65 belvedere 11 [power steering] but will not fit. old arm measures 1 1/8 inch at splines, new one from PST measures 1 inch at splines. anyone else with same problem? also strut arm bushing will not fit unless I machine off about 1/16th
check coupling and firewall bushing. my 65 belvedere had similar problem and after rebuild of coupling and new firewall bushing, steering wheel and column firm.
