If you want good traction the idea is weight transfer or "squat" at the rear right? So what do the SS springs do for the the rear? What is the difference both in traction and drivability (doesn't take out your fillings) between re-arching the stockers, 3400lb, and 3600lb springs? Thanks. Just...
How much "love" can you give the wheel studs with a mallet with the axles still in? Can't quite get a c clamp in there to press them out. Also if I unbolt the axle and slide it out do I need a catch pan for gear oil? Any comments for the fronts as they're next?
I'm seeing two types of upgrade from drum kits out there. Most swap out your spindles for new ones but there's a few that don't and use the existing spindle. Is there any reason to replace them if some kits allow you to keep the stockers?
Got black steelies to try on for now and curious if most use gloss or satin black? Most pictures look pretty shiny like gloss but not sure. Also are you using an engine enamel or something similar that's heavy duty?

I saw a couple magazine articles on it but was wondering if there are any companies that restore them if you ship it to them. Manual steering and floor shift so not a whole lot in it, but will probably need everything inside it.
Going to order wheel studs with my tires as mine are looking rough. What size is stock for a 65 Belvedere II, drums front and back. Thought 1/2" but what thread count and length? I also plan to switch to the same thread on pattern for both sides to avoid someone over torquing/breaking mine.
Currently have a 30x9.5 A/T that came on the 65 Belvedere II I just bought. Any idea if the height and width combined of the below Coker tire will be a fitment issue? I'm using a 15x7 steelie with 4" back space. I plan to have the back end as high as she'll sit and still look good.
