Yes. Slips throughout 3rd. If i Close throttle Shift from 2 to D and just cruise i can rum 60mph without slip. But as i Start to open The throttle just a little Bit more...as torque comes up it Slips again. And no Not because it wants to Kick down. Less throttle less slipping more throttle more...
No, it doesnt try to Kick down. It is Slipping.
1st and Second also holds torque well. I can floor it in First go up to 5500rpm and Shift Manual into 2nd. Shift Good and firm and holds well at WOT. But as it goes in 3rd it Slips BAD.... I would destroy The clutch Discs if i would Stay on The...
I have some trouble with The TF727 of the67 Coronet. Long Story Short......when my Girl brought The car The 3rd Gear was shot. So i brought a b&m Master mit and a new converter and rebuilt The Transmission. Now The car Runs Perfect 1st 2nd and Reverse. 3rd Starts to slip...... Oil pressure...

Okay , THATS is a big difference haha ! we thought about installing a 440 engine and found one near to us but he wasnt the best and so we decided rather to revise the transmission :)
