Will a 727 pushbutton T/F from a 318 Poly, bolt up to a 3rd Gen Hemi? I understand the later LA small block T/F will, with a different flex plate, but what about the earlier trans? I am thinking about swapping my poly out, in the future, but want the push button shift.

Just bought this car and it has a blue poly 318. Can this possibly be an original engine? The car was one owner until very recently and the seller never touched it. Appears to be 37K original miles car. I was under the impression that Poly would be red in '63, and blue in '64. Late production maybe?
