I ended up landing a sponsorship from Dicksters SmarTpants from Roanoke Indiana and allowed him to use my car to make 1970 Dodge Charger replacement headlight motor assemblies. There is no other company on the planet that makes replacement headlight motor assemblies for the 1970 Dodge Charger...

Such an easy question for those old schoolers that had these cars back in the day. On my charger I only found 2 speakers on the headrest by the rear windshield. Was that the only speakers on these cars stock? I have the 500 series dont know if that made a difference or not.
Hows it going guys? I havent been on here in a while. I have been driving around the country trucking(LA, Salt lake city, Orlando, Dallas, Houston, Nashville, Memphis you all name it). My charger is running pretty great I start it up as soon as I get back and let it run. I read my summit and...
So, I am planning on getting an 871 blower for my mopar. It has 8 to 1 compression pistons and I am buying an aluminum head for it. So this car could hold up to boost at 5k or 5500k. I was just wondering do these forms of aspiration have oil return lines? From the Dick Landy books I have read...
I realise there is 20-25 gallons in a tank on a 1970 dodge charger. So would 5 gallons get it to about an 1/8 of a tank on the meter? just trying to figure out if the gauge works for fuel.
Yeah I know this sounds stupid but I have actually been busting my beehind to get this sucker off the last couple of days. I tried using a 1 inch socket and it was to small. Then tried a 1 and 1/16 socket and it was to big. I tried some wrenches same thing. Couldnt use pliers no space.
Just wanting to know what are bad specs for oil pressure is to high or to low. What kinds of things cause to low of oil pressure or to high and what are basic oil pressure readings for a high performance 440 mopar 1970 charger. Any little knowledge greatly appreciated.
Car is a 1970 charger 500. Sounds silly I know. My gauge cluster wasnt connected into the car. I got the headlights to turn on properly. Turn signal lights sort of work. How do you turn the light gauges on? Is it the dome light switch and do you have to have it all the way up for the lights to...
Just wanting to know some information that goes along with these forms of aspiration. I am familiar with turbos and how they work but a supercharger is different.
Can you control the boost psi on a supercharger?
Anything else to add I do plan on buying some books on these.
Just wondering what caused the 440 engine in the late 70s to have less power I was wondering if I rebuilt the cams and head to aluminum and bigger lobe cams If that would free a lot of power. Also straight piping the exhaust with some JEGs headers would help.
On a earlier post I mentioned how to determine the model. Members said it would be on the side of the block. Would that be behind the headers? Also, this would be a big issue to me but I was told by the buyer my engine was a 440 and my stepdad is trying to tell me the engine is a 318 or 360...
