This picture was taken this week in my local junkyard/honey hole in one of the mopar SECTIONS. As you can see it's setting there largely ignored. I had overlooked it in my quest to find anything I might check off my list for my 68 Charger. What I and many others obviously didn't appreciate is...
I read alot about adding torque boxes to drag cars and really high h/p cars. What about your basic driver with a street oriented build of 450 HP give or take a few? Should they be added or is it not enough power to wory about them?
About to order my hinge rebuild kit from Resto Rick. Anything I should know? I have about 4 sets of hinges. Anything special I should look for in the ones I use?
Planning on using to ones that were on this car originally unless something screams dont.
I have a 68 charger that I plan as a high quality driver/local car show restoration. I'm not planning on taking it to Pinehurst NC if you know what I mean.

Who do you guys use for all the general supplies for a total restoration? The body plugs, gaskets, fasteners, rubber bumpers etc.
Also is their a list somewhere that can be downloaded of everything that falls in this category that can but used as a checklist?
As many of you know my Charger was rescued from a junk yard. 75% of the interior was gone. I know the colors, center console a/c that sort of thing. The steering wheel was gone. I have no idea what would have been appropriate. No build sheet either.
Dec 20 1967 build date
Any help? Who to...
Has anyone done a good quarter panel thread here? After all it is one of the most involved things we do to our cars. I don't mean talking about it but pictures and explanations.
I have a beautiful 68 charger pop top gas cap. How do you rebuild them? No chrome issues at all. The center stud that the spring and cap with rubber ring mounted on broke off. I have others that are not very good. I was gonna take the stud from one of those and muggy weld it back in...
In 68 the interior options for the Charger included a white. In 69 it was called "dove white." Did the shade actually change or did they change the name? My white interior was lost in the junkyard. I have 1 sun visor in a white color but I can't confirm what year it is. I have all the arm...
My fender tag revealed I have 3.23 or did have when it left the factory. The info I have found online says the 383 high performance package had 3.55 gears. Could you alter the makeup of the package? I'm cool with 3.23 if that's what is ACTUALLY in it. What do I look for to confirm it?
My whole project has to be moved 450 miles, so moving what is necessary motivated the question.
First can someone post a picture of the correct condenser? I found several in my dad's garage so I don't know which is correct.
Second do all the old components work with the new Freon after being...
I need a 68 charger right fender. Keep coming up empty. IF IF IF I have to use one of their reproductions can anyone tell me from EXPERIENCE if they are any good?
My right fender for my 68 Charger in really rusty behind the wheel well. The patch panels will probably take care the outer sheet metal issues. It's the inner structure I'm concerned about. The dog bone support the runs from top to bottom....anyone know if it's made by the aftermarket...
I have a 68 RR1 burgundy with white top charger. Much of the original interior was gone by the time I got the car. It was burgundy with white seats/ door trim panels white head liner and arm rests....I think. I need pictures for reference if anyone can provide them.
Ive not seen many of...
