Pleased with the gearing for cruising with the 3:54 Dana. Not pleased with higher rpm 2-3 shifts or unfixable rear boot leaks. Balks when shifting 2-3 and trans has been wet since day one...
Is there a vendor here who sells this? Fork is fine, and throw out bearing new. Clutch does not have the linear feel it did before and needs to be toed out for full return on occasion. Engagement is fine. Preparing for the road.
Distinctive clicking on start up cold. First start only. Goes away completely, but not immediately. Suspect timing chain. Been this way with no changes for 2 years, maybe 8000 miles. The clutch fan was recently replaced and the 440 is running so sweet I hate to go anywhere near that area...
Both these are much touted and delayed to market based on what I have read. My early TKO has a 2-3 high rpm balk. A friend wants OD for his 'Cuda without cutting any sheet metal. We are hoping that either the plug and play Passon or the Keisler SS700 will be the answer.
