    Where did you grow up?

Grow up? Umm...... That said...I spent my formative years in N. Virginia (and got the hell OUT as soon as I could). Dad was USN(Ret), turned CPA, turned government work, turned private sector, and actually enjoyed (we never understood it) life around the beltway...until one good ice...

Anyone have experience with Aussie Lockers?

I get it on the 35. I'm not a "wheeler" - I'm a poseur, I guess. It's a beach cruiser summer convertible that I also use around the property like a side by side, and drive in winter because I'll feel less guilty if I bounce it off a snowbank than I would my grand Cherokee ... Michelle's 06 has...

Anyone have experience with Aussie Lockers?

No locking hubs, just a stock D30 front axle with a part time transfer case. But I get what you're saying. IMO 3 wheel drive is better than 2 lol. Unless I find a matched D44/D30 with trac-loc and 3.73s...

Anyone have experience with Aussie Lockers?

I'm asking for a Jeep application, but they make them for D60 as well so maybe someone here has experience with them. Basically they drop in, in place of the pin and spider gears, and you go from open diff to limited slip/full lock without having to pull the ring and pinion apart. Still...

As predicted 6 cylinder turbos are not the future.

Yea, 84 has the suck through throttle body. But, I have a half dozen 2 piece blow through intakes on the shelf...and I think I still have a conversion hat for the Garrett turbo...

As predicted 6 cylinder turbos are not the future.

I'd be tempted, except that you're on the wrong coast. And I'm basically broke at the moment with my duplex rebuild. :BangHead:

As predicted 6 cylinder turbos are not the future.

The turbocharger still cuisinarts the exhaust note. I don't run a muffler on either of my turbos (the Daytona or the minivan) and they're very mellow. I DO, however, run a muffler on my Cummins with the 4" turbo-back exhaust. It's my work truck and I get home from gigs between 1am and 3am...

    "Please S T O P saying this" thread.

Not sure if I posted this before or not, but it happened to me a bunch this weekend and pisses me off. I get a soda, or a sandwich, or someone hands me a piece of equipment. Whatever. I say "thank you". The response I get is "of course". WHAT???? How about "you're welcome"? You know, like...

As predicted 6 cylinder turbos are not the future.

Same with my 3.0 ecodiesel Grand Cherokee. 460lb ft out of a 3.0 v6 turbo. Sure, it's a diesel...but still, small displacement and force-fed.

As predicted 6 cylinder turbos are not the future.

All this is why I still have my 91 Daytona turbo. Nowhere near the same league as the GNX or TTA, but still plenty of memories. And, same mod streak - bigger turbo, bigger injectors, 62mm throttle body (up from stock 46mm), gasket match intake ports, 2.5" exhaust (WITH cat, to control boost...

Anyone know how I can get a title in Pennsylvania?

That's the process in MD for a registration...or, for a vehicle that has been insurance-totalled. Lost title? I don't know. I have an 86 Shelby GLHS that I need to do this for though...but in MD.

I've liked them since new. Drove a GNX in 87, turned the salesman green...couldn't convince Dad to buy it though (I had just gotten my license). Last typhoon I looked at was in key west. It was ROUGH...and he wanted 25k for it. Not GN-crazy numbers but still more than that one was worth IMO.

Yep - to keep up with the GNs turbo six. That thing was a BEAST. Local dealer has a Typhoon on the lot...I'm debating stopping by.... GN power, AWD...hmmm....
