73 Charger SE vinyl top delete

Yeah, if I pull the trigger on my sinister plan, I would remove the studs. As far as the other trim lining up (and looking decent)... that'll certainly take a little finesse.

73 Charger SE vinyl top delete

I appreciate your opinion, but I asked for anyone's experience in doing it; not opinions on whether or not I should.

73 Charger SE vinyl top delete

I'm pondering a slight conversion of my 73 Charger opera windows. I like the louvers, but not a fan of the vinyl top. This is a low-budget, drive-it-ugly monstrosity project. Just a wicked BB stroker under the hood of a seemingly ugly beater (obviously not the car presented below). Has...

Should I add these when I put my oem exhaust manifolds?

One of the most under-rated drummers, for sure. McBrain, Harris and Murray... what a historic combo!

Searching for past history of my car , If at all possible

That may just apply to CERTAIN information, because I made my requested to the PA bureau around 2015. I did not need the previous owner's permission. They gave me his name, but no address.

Dumb question but what harnesses do I need

Evans is out of Erie, PA. They have a good name, but I've never personally used their stuff.

Be honest on this A 12 repo hood

That's purdy. I'd throw it on my Coronet any time!

Dumb question but what harnesses do I need

With used harnesses, you may run into a lot of brittle ones. There are certainly good ones out there, but if you do go with new... another vote for M&H.

Searching for past history of my car , If at all possible

You might be able to get some information (for a small fee) from the Ohio BMV. I did that some years ago with a 69 Charger I had - contacted the BMV in PA. Worth a shot.

Break in oil for new 440

One more vote for Penn Grade (10W40 for me). And, like Don said, after the initial break-in, just run a good ZDDP oil.

    72 rear suspension in a 73

Glad to hear you say that. I've wondered about that, since I too will be getting rid of the ISO crap and putting a 72 setup back there. I'm hoping for a bit of a height increase in the back end.

    1968 Charger Company Car

That's a whole lot cooler than the company vehicle I had to drive for four years - Chebby S-10 with a 4-banger.

Agreed. I got a set of pre-73 mounts of a buddy of mine for $10

    72 rear suspension in a 73

I'm in the process of doing the same thing. I sourced a 72 rear end (8 3/4) and spring hangers, and got new leafs from ESPO for a 72... all for my 73 Charger. Yeah, I'm not hip on those isolators either.
