When I finally because a machinist (ha) and finally acquired a dial indicator I checked my 'feel'.......it was pretty close but on the loose side which isn't bad compared to being on the tight side and risk having a problem out on the highway on a really hot day. Never had an issue.

And replaced it with diesel....so far, I like the change!

Well, people quit going to the mom and pop hardware stores for the big box stores that were supplied by cheap China made crap and the mom and pop stores couldn't compete....plus, too many 'do it yourselfers' didn't want to do it yourself anymore.

First I've ever heard of it.....and quit watching Oak Island during it's first year.

I bet most of them will be half way crippled by the time they are 65 and won't be able to do much of anything by 70.....if they make it that far.

Asked them how many bones they have broken learning that stuff.....

And if you find one without the flat, it's no big deal to grind one in.

When I was stationed in Germany and 'maned' the West Gate one night I could hear something coming up the 2 lane 'highway' from a good ways off (secondary roads were 60 mph or 100 clicks) and as it got closer to the turnoff into the base, it got much quieter. He barely idled it up to the gate...
