Would like your opinion on a new drink holder for 67-70 B bodies

I stared at her for a while. What a smoke show. Watch the paint bitch!!!!

Would like your opinion on a new drink holder for 67-70 B bodies

Looks good. First stab on a healthy big block will send drinks flying into the back seat. As a rule, I don't eat or drink in any of my cars, even the daily drivers. Fucks a car up.

Pull Engine Time: Hood On or Off?:

Pulling / Putting it in from below is the only way to go if you don't want to pull the hood. Hood alignment sucks. Tears the **** out of the paint plus a bitch to get correct.

Valve covers for trick flow heads ?

My old Mickies wouldn't clear my Trick Flow 240s either. Nothing that a die grinder and carbide burr couldn't fix. Just some gentle clearancing on the valve cover is all it takes (not the head). They'll fit.

    My 68 roadrunner restoration

Not sure what Passon painted mine in. Jaimie just recommended I clear coat it. Close though.

68-70 B body clutch/brake, steering column support rod

Strange that you're having that much trouble with it. Has the car been hit in the past perhaps? They have always fell into place for me. I suppose you could leave it out but my guess would be some irritating rattles would develop over time. Again, it's there for a reason.

    REM polishing?

Take the money and spend it on a proper dyno break-in.

FOUND Front fender rear splash shields 68-69 Charger

Yes, I have run into crap like that too. The Charger is a different beast in several respects.

Another (different) Disc Brake Conversion Question

You get what you pay for. I'm big fan of BAER. Manufactured in Phoenix AZ USA. Great customer service, great products. But again you need to PAY for it. It's like the old adage. Performance costs money, how much performance do you want?

Are outer steering column covers supposed to be slightly bent?

Here's what I think I would do if I were presented with this problem. I'm assuming a manual transmission column. Auto may be a bit different. Take a measurement from the side of the tube that is not bent to get a basic length of the tube. Then rig up something to try and PULL the tube back...

68-70 B body clutch/brake, steering column support rod

On my 68 RR as well. Not too bad to install. It just adds that much more rigidity. It's there for a reason.

Are outer steering column covers supposed to be slightly bent?

Totally rebuilt the one in my 68 RR. Laser beam straight.

Save your back with one of these lumbar cushions

I bet it is comfortable. Nothing smacks more of a tired old F@ck is driving this car, at a show, than a lumbar support devise strapped to the seat. Something hella manly about hammering around in a true muscle car that's not comfortable.
