Thanks Pete! I knew I was going to need to cut & buff a lot, that’s why I sprayed 6 coats of clear. It wasn’t that difficult to do, just tedious and time consuming.

Thank you! After sanding the entire car about 10 times over the past 3 months, you become pretty intimate with all the angles and curves. I have a much greater appreciation for John Herlitz’s vision and attention to detail. Although I was cursing him the entire time I was sanding/buffing :p

My car is finally in paint! I never realized how many curves, reverse curves, bulges, etc this car has. There’s not a flat area on it! I probably should have picked a flatter car for my first attempt at spraying, and using metallic bc to boot! I would say that it came out ok for a garage paint...

Nice work! I did the same to my car. If it's in the budget, I would suggest purchasing a punch tool for the plug weld holes. I put a slice in the head with a grinder so that I could place the holes a bit more in-board.
