    Welcome aboard, nice to see another 68 being saved! I'm sorry for your loss but as you work on your dad's car, know he is with you and will always be in the passenger seat wherever you go. You might want to put a personal item of his in your car as well. Keep up the great work!

    Avoid using a razor blade, too ridgid, too sharp and will dig into the metal leaving scratches. A brass wire brush will bend/flex as you scrub. Brass is a soft metal and less prone to scratch. Seeing some of the paint is already gone, the acetone will be able to soak into the base layer...

    In my case we made it up as I had no idea what dealership sold my car but l was pretty sure it was sold in the Livonia, MI area, as based on the information l got from who I believe was the 2nd owner the original owner worked at Hammtrammac. Triple A Enterprises has all of the dealership codes.

    This is the info l got from Triple A Enterprises The 42 56419 is the zone and dealer number for this dealership on the window sticker The G43 is the routing number and the BX is just the 7th digit and the first digit of the VIN. It is the way that Chrysler completed the SO number.

    Nice job but the font is wrong for the purists. I tried to find the correct font to do one as well. I reached out to the CHS, but they didn't have any info which I thought was odd.

    Interesting info. My 68 383 4bbl non-ac Charger pad stamp is 1/22, so l would have thought l should have gotten the silenced, as that's what it shows in the OEM buyers guide, but based on Nickels garage info, my unsilenced air filter is correct, phew!
