    Well this may be a stupid brake question: where to measure to determine if I have 10 or 11s?

    Yeah I would say that pretty much answers that. While looking at the usual sites they show two different width shoes for the rear 10 inch brakes. Any clues from the pics there? Dodge just can’t make things simple.

    BTW that May 12th 1965 is the day the engine was assembled... If you look at the side of the block you'll see a cast in date that's probably somewhere in the 64 time frame, that's the date the block was cast....

    This sounds like a TIG job. Look around for a local shop that can aluminum weld for a permanent repair. That crack should not take more than 30 minutes for them to fix, including time to properly clean the area. My trans had a chunk taken out (about and 1" square) that was put back in place...

    Better than a drinking problem. Seriously though, to be able to have a collection like that is good, shows you have restraint. I know people who would have 500 empty bottles.
