I have a feeling my dimmer switch and maybe my headlight switch are defective.
I've went through 2. First one was a chinese one from ebay which was very cheap (under $8 including shipping) which simply just stopped working after a month if i remember.
Next one was a used one i bought a spring...
My headlights have started to flicker on and off continuously while driving. Its hard to tell but jiggling the headlight switch seems to maybe have an effect on this. Before I dive in to find out the problem I was just looking for general insight and wondering if the aftermarket headlight...

1964 Plymouth fury wagon,
front turn signals work
parking lights work
interior lights work
headlights work, except the low beams wont turn on currently by themselves, but both hi and lo bulbs work when its on the high beam setting
the tail lights work
brake lights DON'T work
turns signals...
this was wired in, between the tail lights, just hanging under the rear bumper.

My dash lights haven't worked in my 64 fury since I bought it. I replaced the headlight switch (old rheostat was corroded when i removed it) and now I have interior lights but only behind the pushbuttons, not illuminating any of the gauges. All of the lights seems to work otherwise... Except...
im having trouble trying to take this apart to inspect and clean but the seconds hand is stuck on pretty good. is there a certain way it comes off. I don't want to pull or twist the wrong thing and break it. how do I take this thing apart?
