As some of you know, I have a 1969 Corvette that fell into my lap for a price I couldn't refuse, so I have made that a (near) daily driver. The car is a small block 350 car, with PS, PB, TH400 auto, power windows and factory A/C. I've been working to get everything working just like it should...
^^^^ What he said!
This is step 1 before you do anything else. Only after that has been verified should you move on to other steps.
...and I'll add to this some: If your hand even twitches the throttle the accelerator pump should start squirting fuel. If it doesn't, then you have an issue...

A bit further away from the grandstand than last year. This means more to lug there on Saturday - Yuk! Also looks like we'll have another group right next to us so space might get a bit tight. Regardless, we'll do the best that we can and still...

...this explanation makes more sense to me.
I don't remember off hand, but most of those are related to the date code and/or shift that the part was made. My...
First of all, all this modern crap has allowed that truck to go 411K miles. The number of old classic cars that went well into the 100,000 mile range was very few compared to modern cars.
Having said that, the electronics can absolutely get "old", especially the parts related to ignition (like...
I agree with Don on using the factory bar. On my 70, this was one of the few places I used polyurethane. You want the bar to IMMEDIATELTY start resisting body roll, not waiting for good 'ol rubber to compress. (The other place I used Polyurethane was the lower control arms. They take a beating...
