Overall a good weekend with the Buckeye S/SS group at KilKare. First time I've raced a different car other than my 79 Aspen with this group. Took the Sport Fury to the local 1/8 mile track Saturday for some testing. Overall I would say a success. Maiden pass was a 7.89, 7.86 is the I/SA index for 1/8 mile. Accidently short shifted from low to second. 5200 rpm, shift light is set at 6000. Picked up on the second run to a 7.85 even...

More changes...new headers are on. First time I've had the rocker covers off, valve train looks good.

Changed out the throttle linkage yesterday. Started by changing the gas pedal and linkage that I found on ebay. Works much better now.

Never heard of this happening but thanks for the tip.

I do have a set of those headers, 2" primaries might be too much for the 383. That's why I decided to go with 1" 3/4. Not sure about Norwalk, it's quite a tow for me.
