If the car has under steer, I'll raise the psi in the fronts. If it has over steer, I'll lower the psi in the fronts if the psi is within the recommended pressures listed on the tires and yes, the fronts usually have more psi in the fronts than the rears. Watching tire wear is another good thing....
I sold the coupes but kept the Fastbacks....had two of those at the same time and used one for a hot rod and the other to drive to work but the hot rod got driven to work often :D
Yeah, the 79 was a coupe. I made a pair of clear Lexan headlight covers for it and added a set of Mexican Mustang snowflake wheels which I never saw another Mustang wearing them. I kinda liked the car actually but it was slower than a Pacer?? Geez lol.
258 (iirc) in the Pisser and a 200 in the Mudstain. It was one of those cars that was supposed to get the then new V6 so every time I bought any thing from the parts house for it I had to have the VIN on hand.
Yeah, I read that in your earlier post....and I agree. They did ride good especially at 80 mph. I didn't expect that at all. Kept it about a year when I found a 79 Mudstain that was a year old with 18k miles for cheap. It turned out to be a good car.....but the Pisser was actually faster lol
You ever drive one on the highway? My first wife came with one....and bought it because she liked the radio in it and the floor shifter. Good reasons, eh lol. Anyways, I did some studying on them and there were some neat features in them. One is there virtually no blind spots and the body design...
Hey, it's the first time for me to see something like that. What I did was to back my trailer in against a stop that was predetermined....that way the wall wouldn't be knocked out :D
