    my issue is that, i have great pedal feel, not spongy.. not too hard.. all 4 corners work but it's like the pads just don't bite, i could stand on it with 2 feet and not lock up a front or rear (disc/drum).. car was originally a manual drum car so i assume the rod pivot is in the right spot...

    Check your pushrod adjustment. Not all of the backbores of the masters are the same where the rod engages. Even if its a "direct replacement". You can have too much slack all the way to too much stick out which applies pressure just sitting there.
