So I seem to be missing my hardware bag that connects my front transmission rod to the steering column. The steering column flange hole is much larger than the pined rod. So there must be some bushing that I am missing.
Can anyone help me identify what parts I am missing to join the rid to the...
Looking to install my vent tubes. I see where the longer tube goes through the trunk as seen by the pic. I just don’t recall where the short tube comes through. Any pictures would help!
Thanks!
Hey guys I can’t seem to find the posts showing how you welded the adjuster onto the support. Can you guys point me to that info? Should I drill out the two adjuster holes and spot weld it into place? Any tips on this is appreciated.
Oh also the fsm does not show the details on how this is set...
So originally I thought a Belvedere was a room with a nice view. Then I thought it was a mediocre vodka. Then it was some bland Plymouth brand of cars. Then I realized I have one. So what the hell is a Belvedere anyway?
Reposting here for more traction.
My steering column appears to be about 1/2” too short. What are my options?
Pictures show that in the correct position to line up the column bolts and support screws it’s off (short) about 1/2 inch. Also the shifter is just about touching the dash. This is...
I noticed a perfect rectangle clean area on the outside of the two mounting studs of the accelerator pedal. This implies there was a backing plate there before the factory undercoating. I don’t recall taking it off but there was non factory carpet installed sometime ago. I looked at the FSM but...
I assume the accelerator plate was mounted under the carpet but want to confirm. Any pics on how it was done by the factory would be helpful.
Thanks

From the assembly manual I am trying to understand how these plastic breakaway supports offer any safety. Can someone please explain? I can’t visualize the break and subsequent benefit in the FSM drawing. I know I am missing something.
Is the column supposed to just drop in a collision?
My car never had the mast but had the original base as pictured. How does/did the mast get inserted in the holder? Is there threads deeper in there or is it just a press fit or am I missing another part?
Guys looking through my docs but I can’t find what this hole in the firewall is for. From my engine bay picture there is a bolt in there and also another just like 7 inches away laterally.
Anyone know off hand what the size thread the seat belt attachment bolt is? I believe its a 7/16 and I’ve tried a few bolts but non fit because they have been painted. So I need to chase them out but need to know the thread size less I pull boner
I would like to know if my air cleaner will clear my new AMD GTX/Roadrunner fresh air hood. I am not able to test fit the hood right now as I am working alone and don’t have anyone that could lend me a hand.
I was wondering how my drop base air cleaner sits as compared to your air cleaner in...
Anyone know the difference between these two manufacturers fiberglass wings? I am curious as to the quality and strength comparatively. I know not many here will have experience with this but any input would greatly be appreciated!

Has anyone successfully repaired a pot metal stud such as on a body tag? I am looking for a robust way to do this and was thinking of doing this way if nobody knows a better way.
Take a thin copper wire and wrap it around the broken pot metal stud to the desired length. Then using a micro torch...
This shop is in AUS. Looks like they can dip and strip a whole car at once. Is there any shop here in the states doing this? Imagine how much time this would save and how thorough it would be!
How can I save my vin when painting the door? Should I mask it off or is there a removal process that works that would allow me to put it back on after paint?
After so much disassembly on my Sport Sat I am wondering how long it actually took on the assembly line to build a “typical “ B-Body? Anyone have any references on this? I wonder how it compares to a typical sedan now????
