So I got a 2” thick abrasive wheel that I want to put on my buffer but even with taking out the spacer it fits flush to the end. I need about another 1/2 inch for the nut. I don’t have a mill or lathe so I can’t turn down the shoulder for more wheel clearance.
Seems like this maybe a common...
So I am considering buying the HF sandblaster. I don’t have room in the garage and therefore would need to have this kept and used outside. We don’t get much rain and humidity is low here in AZ and I would cover it when not used. Is this crazy? Anyone else ever do this with success or failure?

And I used it again today! I was fortunate enough to go to a school that had a complete metal shop including a foundry where I made the cast sand mold for this saw and used a shaper and lathe for the blade adjuster.
Too bad they don’t teach kids these days any trades. The big companies sold us...
I think I could use a soda blaster in my life right now to hit some specific spots on my car and some miscellaneous parts. Are these any good? They look like they all foul up frequently and the HF has a lot of bad reviews. I want something I won’t get frustrated with. Wondering if one exists.......
So was wondering what type of fuel transfer systems do you guys use. I was looking at this but don’t wanna to spend $400. I have a 5 gallon container would like to have a better way to transfer fuel from container to car and from car to container.
Ideas and pictures please!
Not sure where this should go as its a priority announcement but here it is:
The Harbor Freight jack stands 3 & 6 ton that we've all bought, borrowed or seen in our friends' garages are being recalled due to a risk of collapsing under load. Go check yours immediately.
Was using the Harbor Freight hole punch flange tool but its weak. The designs all look identical but maybe its a tolerance issue or materials issue don’t know.
Can you guys recommend a decent punch that is robust?
Thanks
I am wondering if this is garbage or useful tool. Meaning is the device capable of welding or not?? Is this a capacitive weld? The keys and puller is a solid concept but does this type of gun actually work??
Thanks MF
