I have converted my single exhaust to a duel on my 1970 Sport Satellite. I want to upgrade to factory hangers and exhaust tips. I am not sure about alignment of the exhaust in reference to the frame and how a and where the hangers are located precisely.
Also how far the tail pipes protrude from...

Hey guys, I have ordered and received the parts I thought I needed to mount my column but the FSM does not do a great job on the assembly drawing.
I don’t see the star washers washers that I bought . I don’t think they are used?
I know where the nylon safety support inserts are supposed to go...
My 1970 Sport Satellite has the holes in the passenger door for a mirror. What type of mirror was there? I know it was manual. Was that an option or was that standard for the Sport Satellite? I need to find one……
Thanks! MF
Hey guy’s I am hoping to receive my 1970 Air Grabber hood and door. This is for my 1970 Sport Satellite. It has a 340 in it with a high rise and the stick hood won’t clear it.
So the plan is not to spend the big bucks (already did this on the hood and door) and actuate the door with an...
So after receiving and fitting my rear endcap gaskets I am trying to figure out how Chrysler painted them in the factory. The fitment is great but you do see the edge of the gasket. So the the cars were painted POST assembly the gasket would be painted and the panel libes slighty filled in with...
Hey guys got a question for you. What’s the difference between the green tinted glass and clear? Was this an option back then or were all the cars produced with green tinted windows (all the way around??)? I’ll have to look at mine to see what I have when I can dig them out. Just was curious...
Anybody know if Chrysler used gaskets on the metal rear corner endcaps on the 70 B Body RR Sat etc? My metal work is near perfect flush fit but now wondering if that metal to metal fit originally had some thin gasket between the two or not.
Enquiring minds want to know….
Car is apart and I haven’t looked at the assembly. Thought one of you guys could probably quickly identify what causes this…ie interference issue? Seems like both doors has this. Didn’t notice until after I epoxy primed it.
Thanx
They don’t make these rear quarter end caps has aftermarket parts do they? For my 1970 Sport Sat same as the gtx or RR. Its pot metal and my driver side is damaged and pot metal is horrible if not impossible to work with (maybe this thread will turn into a repair of pot metal) as I can’t find...
I’m thinking of using the cast LPW 10 differential cover on my 8 1/4 inch axle. The one thing that I’m not sure about is clarence to the fuel tank in full travel. I’m curious if anybody has used one of these LPW covers successfully and can speak to this. I’m not really able to go out there and...
After this amount of time I am wondering who/how many of us have the 1970 Sport Satellite. Certainly many were made but I don’t see many at all anywhere.
If you have one please identify your drive line and features. Most were fully equipped with AC PB Automatics

So if you haven’t noticed I am all over the place on the Satellite. Body, engine, transmission, electrical more. Its a little daunting as its not easy to make a lot of forward progress due to funding health and the like. But I was able to get the front end completed and I think it looks good...
Hey guys my carb is not going to clear the hood. One concept I have is to cut an opening for the carb and use an air grabber scoop in a fixed position. It barely rains here in AZ but thats one flaw I am not sure how to work around. Any ideas on that are welcomed!
In order for me to understand...
So I am missing my shift knob on the 70 Sat which is common among the bbodies from what I have seen. It’s a press fit not threaded. Wondering if there are any reasonable replacements?
Hey, are there any catches to removing the front quarter panels not stated in the FSM? I have not done this before and would like to confirm from someone who has done this. I need to work the quarters and it would be easier off the car as long as if its as easy as it seems in the FSM. Looks like...
Ok so as I get the old girl sorted out drive train wise I am finding the fron suspension is well down right scarry. I know my torsion bars are set to maximum so I need to get the front end off them and onto the new shocks I put on. But beyond this it looks like the original parts. Sooooo I see...
