In my garage, the hood goes on the roof with a very thick, very soft blanket. At a car show, I agree with gkent. It doesn't go on the roof. I set it up with hood prop rods. PITA but it's safer (and it looks cool)
OK, well this is ABSOLUTELY a matter of opinion. How bad do you want an A12 car. I wanted one REALLY REALLY bad.
I have a real A12 Bee and I really don't consider the hood removal/install to be a PITA. Honestly, I feel lucky to have that car. If you won the lotto, would you complain about...
My concern was installing the hood without killing my fenders and/or cowl panel. Removing the hood is easy for me. I lift it a bit from the front (NEVER from the scoop) and push my stomach into it to hold it and then reach around both sides with both hands and lift it off the car and place it...
This Holley 6160 4bbl carb came off of a running 1972 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron 440. This carb is complete and everything moves freely on it. Throttle shafts do not appear to be worn as they have no play in them. $60.00 and I'll pay for the shipping to 48 states from 06484.
Someone from FABO informed us that there are 2 possible rain dates but the track won't call it until Sunday. Can you imagine driving up there and then they postpone it? No thanks. I'm staying home Sunday and hope it gets pushed off until the 20th.
Copied and pasted this right from the Flowkooler webside. I believe you will want to search for a FlowKooler 370-180. They aren't cheap but well worth it.
The difference between the Robertshaw 370 Series and the 330 Series is the flange diameter.
Fits Mopar, Some Ford, Lincoln, Mercury...
I would buy it if it checks out to be good. And then the first thing I would do is remove the MSD box (I hate those things) AND replace the battery cables. Universal battery cable terminals, especially on a car like that, drive me CRAZY. Those universal terminals have their place and it's NOT...
Regarding hood removal and installation:
Removal is very easy for me. It's the installation part that can cause possible damage if you're not careful.
Here is what I did and it's been working for me for 7 years now. I call it the GPS guiding system  I went to Home Depot and bought a 4...
I had a very good experience using Dave's services at Woodruff. I have an AVS that needed work. Excellent service, quick turn around and the price was below what I thought it would cost. My 6 pack carbs are running ok but if I ever need them worked on, they are going directly to Woodruff.
It would be great if someone could post several detailed pics of this low mileage Bee on this thread and on the A12Mopar site. Couldn't help but notice how the SIX PACK decals are leaning backwards. Details, details.
402 big block oil pan. This is a Chrysler pan and NOT a Chinese made unit. I'm including a windage tray in the deal. These parts are very clean and ready to use. $175.00 plus shipping from 06484.
