I bought a beautiful 1968 yellow charger in 1985, and raised four kids thru 2001 before I had a brain cramp and sold it. We were building a house, and cash was running out. After the house was done, I realized I could have gotten by. but too late. I still had my other 68 I bought in 1985, but...
Having a beer with an old Car Insurance salesman was Illuminating!
Apparently the companies in the 67-73 era rated the life span of any particular muscle car regardless of make or Model.
he remembered clearly the life of the average 1970 Road Runner Insurance policy was 6 Months! Many crashed...

I got it along with a group of parts. The transmission case hole is just a hair under seven Inches in diameter. Aluminum case by the way, and no part number. It fits perfectly on the 383-440 block.
I have a chance to buy a beautiful 68' R/T four speed Coronet that had a Hemi Installed in 1969. Jump do I or not? as is condition is excellent, no restoration required. it is no longer original, but the Hemi is there for sure, K member and all. I would actually prefer the car to be original...
Does anyone here own one? I sold mine in 1993 to a Guy in Kansas City, 383 Four speed, B5 Blue. No engine or Transmission. I may have the original four speed to the car. PM me.
It is a sad day, a fine crew member of the COPS reality show was shot while officers responded to an Armed Robbery In Omaha. it is a terrible thing, and the worthless chump that aimed a CO2 pistol (airlite) at officers is also dead.
I had a fun day at the machine shop, looking my 383 69' cuda engine seeing the progress he
had made. But I was shocked to see another three 383 HP engines (69) being rebuilt, then I said: what is that fourth engine? He said that guy was really protective of that block, but it was just...
