Just a update on this thread if anyone was following or curious. Motor is out, and found out it had been rebuilt, but by someone who has no business rebuilding motors. car is .040 over and 2 of the 8 piston rings where stock size. Sent for a Blackstone oil Analyze. tons of copper and bearing...

Looking for a trunk light/harness for a '69 Road Runner.

I forgot to update this to give a report.... I went out to the box where I put the lifters. I was smart enough to put tags on the lifter retainers to identify where they all go. Sometimes I do the right thing and save myself trouble, sometimes I make dumb mistakes. This time, I did it right.

Its hard to find originals. There is a c-body booster (identical except for the linkage) on on ebay that needs rebuilding https://www.ebay.com/itm/335671350402
