    Torsion Bar Question

Here is one. Sorry it is not good. I tried a few times, but all came up blurry.

    Torsion Bar Question

The bars you have are .90" diameter. The car probably came with .88" bars. Not a huge improvement. Check the numbers on the back of the bars that are in the car now, if they are 776-777, then your bars would be a tad stiffer.

    440 with 8 bolt crank 4speed to 727 ? How do I do it

Remove all that stuff that is in the center of the crankshaft, and the torque converter snout will fit in there.

    Camber bolt - which one?

I'm sure those bolts are the same. The holes in the washers are over about as far as they can go, just like the factory ones. One is probably degrees for one bolt, the other is for the pair, plus some rounding.

    D440 numbers on block

Check the numbers again. An engine can't be built before the block is cast.

    Disc/Drum Proportioning Valve

That is a pressure differential valve. It has nothing to do with rear brake proportioning. If that is the only valve in your brake system then it is a drum brake car. I know you had a drum brake master cyl., so it all makes sense.

    This made me giggle..

My 67 coronet was bought new in a dealership in Calgary, and they had the same deal there. I talked to the original owner and he had the antenna mounted on the quarterpanel.

    Made in USA, Really?

If he ordered from Lokar or Jegs, which both say made in USA, and the parts he received said made in China, then he would have a point. That is not what happened, and his thinking is seriously flawed.

    Made in USA, Really?

I just checked Amazon and they have the one Tony bought, which states it is made in China. He does not have a valid reason to complain, in this case.

    Made in USA, Really?

What does Tony expect? He's not going to get a Lokar, made in the U.S.A. cable for $21.00.

346 heads could have hard or soft seats depending on whether they were early or late castings. I had an early unmolested set that were soft.

Need help deciphering 68 Parts Catalogue

I would like to clear up something. Is there nothing under the W1- W2 heading for a bezel at all, or is there one, but it does not mention R/T in the description?

Need help deciphering 68 Parts Catalogue

Factory parts manuals are not always 100% accurate. They can sometimes be confusing with their discriptions, but they can also also leave out things. My 69 parts manual came from a dealership, and there are arrows and notations etc. all over it.

Need help deciphering 68 Parts Catalogue

All my factory manuals are laid out like the one in post 1. It could be a chrysler Canada manual, but the part numbers are all the same. I don't have a 1968 manual however, so I can't check the numbers for you.
