I forgot you have a four wheel disc system. You may find you don't need much, or any proportioning in the rear system. You will just have to try it. If your car was a drum brake car originally, I would use the original junction block and add an adjustable proportioning valve in the rear system...
Swapping the calipers side to side will change the bleeder position. While you are in there, you should make sure the calipers are mounted to the rear if you have the stock swaybar. If they are mounted to the front, then you need to swap the knuckles.
In my opinion that trans was built for the 1967 model year, due to the numbering format, but it was installed in a 1968 car, based on the VIN stamping. The 67- 68 hemi transmissions were the same, and that one was left over after 1967 production ended. Again, just my opinion.
