    Starter ID clarification what year?

It is probably a reman. It is not a 71, as they were well into the 72 model year by Nov., and a 72 model year starter would not have a 73 date code on it. If my brain is working, then the 36th week of 73 is into the 74 model year.

Rubber brake hose on rear axle-washer?

With all due respect, I disagree. My parts books do not list a washer for that application. They list one for the 9 1/4" dana used in some C bodies, but they used a different tee block. Even if you disregard the parts books, why would the factory use both together. Copper washers work just fine...

Rubber brake hose on rear axle-washer?

What will happen is a nice leak free joint, just like the factory intended. This is assuming that the hose is the correct one and is made properly.
