We have a WINNER!!!!! @DeltaV nailed it in post #302. Dad was sitting on his uncle’s 1957 Mercury (Monterey I believe).

Again, only need to guess YEAR and MAKE. (Model and color not necessary)

Hint #1 - Dad was about 4 or 5 years old in the pic (He was born in 1956 as was mentioned). Hint #2 - It is NOT a Chevy. Hint #3 - It is NOT a Mopar.

Hint #2: Dad was a Chevy man at heart, even though he owned many makes over the years. Although dad has somewhat of a smirk on his face in the photo, I’d say he’s probably unhappy…. Unhappy because the car he’s sitting on IS NOT a Chevy. :lol:

Good morning, I hope this post finds you all recovered well after the holiday, and I hope it was a great Thanksgiving for everyone. Here’s this month’s trivia… This week we ran into some old photos I wasn’t even aware we had, until now. One of those photos was of my dad when he was a kid...

Fresh out of high school I got a job working in a garage. I was 17 years old, the year was 1991. Even then, we did oil changes in that garage for $19.99 and ran specials from time to time for much less. Working there led me to pay a lot more attention to signs in front of other garages...
