On my 67 GTX the date code is 706. So my question. If the model year changes in August is this car a late production 67. Does that date represent July 6 1967 or am I wrong and it represents July 6 1966

My biggest issue is with the fenders, I'm going to FG fenders to ease getting/making the tire clearance I need.
