Is the rear finish panel on a 69 super bee an anodized finish? If so could I get some feedback on who you have used to restore this not reproduced panel.
I’m working on restoring the under hood and front clip on my car. Everything went to bare metal. I used Kirker Enduro Epoxy DTM prime with their activator to cover the steel. Moved on to small amount on plastic work. Then used Kirker Perfect Prime with their activator again. So far so good . I...
On a 67 GTX/Belvedere would anyone have a picture of what the front inner fender shields (by headlights) look like? Mine are missing, I purchased shields for a 66 Belvedere but they are not fitting, must be different. With carlisle approaching sure would be a big help to know what I'm searching...
Little confused about the detailing of a 67 GTX grill. What gets the argent, what is left as aluminum and what gets painted black. Anyone have a guaranteed oe grill that could post some detail pictures for me. Appreciate it

So on the 67 Coronet RT that I’m re assembling I installed the front windshield this morning and attempted the rear in the same fashion, gasket in the frame of the body and try to get the glass into the groove. That didn’t go well, was getting nowhere. Does the rear glass install go the other...
One of my rocker moldings on the 67 coronet rt had a past repair and the metal was worked too much and it is stretched out . Does not want to return to a level plane. I’ve seen metal shrinking discs advertised and was wondering if anyone has experience using one to shrink metal and if they work...
Getting ready to install the rear quarter glass in the 67 Coronet RT. I’ve located the bolts but was wondering what you guys have used in the past for both the bushing that fits it the glass and what to use on each side of the glass to insulate bolt washer and aluminum frame from direct contact...
I want to give it a go to install the front windshield in my GTX. I searched and read all posts through search. One question does the 67 gasket use a locking strip all around once the glass is in the channel?
I don't know the correct name for the part or if it's even reproduced but the door glass for my 67 Coronet RT I'm restoring only has the remains of the flocked plastic sleeves that attached to the leading edge of the door glass that slides into the vent window stainless run. One guide is missing...
Bought a pair of repop fender directionals for my 67 GTX. Of course they didn’t come with a template. If anyone could take a few pictures and measurements to help me locate I’d sure appreciate it. Dan
Looking at the paint chip charts for 67. I there a big difference between CC1 Medium Blue Poly and 881 Bright Blue Poly. The chips look about the same to me. Anyone out there have a car painted either of these colors to see a photo of instead of a small paint chip?
Thanks Dan
I want to remove the aluminum rocker panel moldings so I can polish them up. What is the correct procedure to remove without breaking all the clips. I don't see any clips at either end with a nut from the backside. Should I try to pry from the bottom or top first?
On a 67 coronet hardtop that I’m restoring, I’m adding a vinyl top. My question is how does the vinyl terminate at the roof gutter on both sides . Does it get buried in seam sealer or something similar in the rain gutter or does it get held in place by snapping the drip rail stainless steel over...
Got my 67 Rt Coronet ready to be sent out for paint. Not sure what brand of paint the shop uses but I’ve always had good results. They are having a problem getting a current formula for 1967 TT1 medium copper poly, I gave them an old ditzler number but that didn’t help. Have any of you guys...
So I want to get the pitted vent window frames repaired and chromed. The framework is peened to the pot metal chromed piece. Do I just grind down the peened tabs to remove the framework? Can I just epoxy it back in place when chrome is done?
