There is NO current flow without voltage. And the current that the starter draws is a looooot more than 75 amps, actually several hundred amps when cranking.
Being we were able to read/intercept their secret encrypted communications, that the Japanese arrogantly thought was unbreakable, was the real key in targeting Yamamoto as to time and location for the very low certainty attack.
